Heroines in Vietnam history

The history of the Vietnamese people is the history of the struggle to build and defend the country. During those thousands of years of heroic history, Vietnamese women have always played a particularly important role, thereby contributing greatly to the cause of building and protecting an independent and prosperous country. They are resilient and indomitable soldiers fighting against foreign invaders. They are diligent, intelligent and creative workers. They are the ones who give birth to generations of heroes of a heroic nation. They are the ones who create and preserve the cultural identity of the Vietnamese people.

The history of the Vietnamese nation will always be marked by the brilliant and indomitable female heroes who did not accept a life of slavery and heroically stood up to fight foreign invaders and regained independence and freedom.

Hai Ba Trung.

This title is given to the two sisters Trung Trac and Trung Nhi, two heroic women who courageously launched and led the people to revolt, rose up to smash the colonial government of the Eastern Han Dynasty, proclaimed themselves kings and queens. established independence and self-reliance within three years after more than 200 years of being under the yoke of northern feudal dynasties. The two ladies founded a new dynasty. Trung Trac took the title Trung Vuong. The two ladies lit the fire against foreign invaders of the Vietnamese people. The country’s autonomy brought about by the Two Ladies was short-lived (from the years 40 to 43), but they portrayed in the history and consciousness of the Vietnamese people an example of loyalty and heroism that brought glory to women and nation.

    Ba Trieu.

When the Ngo dynasty invaded the country, causing pain and suffering for the people, around 19 years old, Trieu Thi Trinh left home and went to the mountains to build a base and recruit insurgents to fight the enemy. When her brother sent a message to her husband’s house, she replied clearly showing her mettle, “I want to ride the strong wind, ride the fierce waves, kill whales in the East Sea, drive away the Wu army, regain the country, slavery, but I refuse to stoop to being someone else’s concubine.” Currently, her mausoleum and temple still remain forever in Hau Loc district, Thanh Hoa province, an important national historical relic, and evidence of the pride of a heroic woman of the Vietnamese people.
