Located about 120km from Hanoi’s capital and about 4km from Tam Coc’s tourist area, Thung Nham Bird Park is a tourist destination in the core area of Trang An World Heritage Complex.

Visiting route
Thung Nham Bird Park is open to visitors all year round. Opening hours:
- 7 a.m – 6 p.m in summer
- 7:30 a.m – 5:30 p.m in winter
The best time to visit Thung Nham Bird Park is early morning or late afternoon when the birds are most active. You should come around that time to take advantage of the best bird-watching opportunities.
Thung Nham Bird Park is located in the middle of the beautiful Tien Lake, with an area of about 18 hectares. The lake here is very poetic, always clear all year round, visitors can walk and enjoy the scenery around the lake.
There are two ways to visit Thung Nham Bird Park: rowing a boat along the Tien Lake to enter the semi-flooded area, or wandering and walking along the 2km long forest path. Each option gives visitors their own interesting experience.
